The San Jose Earthquakes partnered with Urban Soccer Park to bring small-sided soccer directly to fans outside PayPal Park. The new 5-a-side field transforms the stadium’s fan zone into an active, inclusive experience—connecting kids, families, and supporters to the game on matchdays and beyond.

The installation balances professional branding with public accessibility, giving the Earthquakes an interactive community feature that extends the game-day experience beyond the stands.
Site & Scale
Located outside PayPal Park in San Jose, California, featuring one 5-a-side Urban Soccer Park field designed for fan engagement and community use.
Surface & System
Turf field with containment netting and rebound walls, built for high-frequency activation during games and off-season programs.
Branding & Visibility
Positioned beside the stadium and team store for maximum exposure, incorporating San Jose Earthquakes logos and club colors throughout the field design.
Purpose & Use
Serves as both a matchday attraction and a community field open for clinics, youth programs, and free play on non-event days.
Timeline
