New York 60x90 Backyard Soccer Field (+ Panna Cage)

Urban Soccer Park
60 x 90 backyard soccer field

This residential field is a 60x90 field that was placed in their backyard for private use. The field includes custom powder coating with white and maroon handrails. To really maximize the use for the field, they added our integrated lights. Off to the side of the field, they added a Full-Size Panna Cage for when not as many people show up.

Location: Ballston Lake, NY

The owners had 3 goals in mind when working with Urban Soccer Park:

  • Goal 1 - Provide easy access to their kids to play soccer and train
  • Goal 2 - To run their own pickup games with friends and family
  • Goal 3 - To promote the small-sided style of play

The owner really wanted to bring small-sided soccer to their community because the closest field was 45 minutes away. This backyard field allows them to bring friends and family over to play weekly. The field also gets used by the local high school soccer team as a training ground when they want to get extra work in.

We were able to customize the size to fit exactly where they wanted the field to go. One of the major factors was making sure the field could withstand the elements in Upstate NY so they could continue playing year-round.

Timeline from first conversation with Urban Soccer Park to project completion: April 2nd, 2020 - August 21st, 2020
